HOSPITAL FACILITIES

receive the National Quality Institute Order of   Excellence. Accreditation Canada awarded Toronto East General “Full Accreditation” immediately after its 2009 survey, placing it in the top 5% of hospitals.

In 2010 Toronto East General was voted as one of the top 75 best places to work in Canada.

The hospital CT, MRI, X-ray, oncology dept. and operating room are all connected indoors from Dr. Ing’s office.

The main parking lot is on the Sammon Avenue, adjacent to Dr. Ing’s office.  If you have troubles walking, park close as possible to the yellow brick building (K wing).  [In the winter, the parking lot is congested.  You may want to take the TTC instead.]

The Toronto East Pharmasave pharmacy is in the centre of the hospital.  A second pharmacy, Rumball’s Pharmacy is just at the corner of Coxwell and Sammon Ave..    Rumball’s phone # is 416 461-6900 and opens at 9 am.

Tim Hortons, a Greek cafe, a Pizza shop, Subway Sandwich shop, and the gift shop are on the 1st floor between the Coxwell entrance and Admitting.
